The DGT – Deutsche Gamestage (lit. “German Game Days”) constitute Germany’s leading cross-industry communication and networking platform for games business, -development and -culture. Eight individual events over five days offer a multitude of information on the topic of games; these include a business conference, workshops and talent-scouting, as well as our own Indie conference, a gala event and matchmaking-/ public playing events.
Events for 2013 are, among others, the “Quo Vadis. Create. Game. Business.“ conference, the “A MAZE. Indie Connect“ festival, the „Girls' Day“, the recruiting event “Making Games Talents“ and the “Gamefest Berlin“ at the "Computerspielemuseum" (computer games museum). The highlight is the award ceremony of the "Deutscher Computerspielpreis" (German computer game award) on Wednesday evening. The "Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg" is the sponsor of individual events.
Participants include German and international game developers, publishers, investors and gamers as well as representatives of public institutions and the media industry. In 2012, more than 2.000 visitors came to the DGT – Deutsche Gamestage in Berlin.
